Once Upon a Time in the North - Philip Pullman, John Lawrence So maybe it's not a full five stars; I'm more likely to say that I really liked it than that it was "amazing," but I am so glad to have it at all that it makes itself amazing. :)

Iorek is one of my favourite characters, and Lee & Hester are pretty awesome as well. As this book focuses on them, I enjoyed it.

It's a quick little tale that can be read in one sitting, basically just a glimpse of a young Lee and his meeting of Iorek and an adventure they had together. Fun.
